So, after seeing that ridiculously cute gif of Carlos and Alexa, I decided to check out the Carlexa tag. It almost reminds me of the Larry tag. So much unnecessary hate is thrown in there.
Okay, let’s start this out by saying: Carlos is a GROWN man. It is His choice whether or not to share his personal life with his fans, and luckily, unlike a lot of famous people, he is giving the fans a look into his personal life.
Was the gif risky? Sure. I wouldn’t say it was inappropriate though. We do not see anything, and for all we know, she could even be wearing another shirt underneath that one. Do any of you really know? No. Give the guy a benefit of a doubt and let him breathe.
A lot of people are talking about how that is inappropriate for the young fans to see. Come on. Very few 12 year old and under fans are glued to twitter and tumblr all of the time like us older fangirls, so just calm yourself. Yes, they know how to use technology, but come on.
Face it. Carlos is happy, and he’s not trying to shove it in your faces. He’s just letting you enter his world, and we should welcome that.
I have had the pleasure of meeting him twice, and he is honestly the MOST genuine band member I have ever met and I am thankful for him. Just think twice of what it will do to him if he sees all of this hate.

Big Time Rush - Beautiful Christmas
YES. I can tell my stories now. STORY TIME!
So, everyone would think I’d answer this question with ‘Liam Payne’. Do not get me wrong, meeting Liam, we shared this moment that I will never, ever forget. But, I only met him for about 30 seconds.
My favorite person that I have ever met is Carlos Pena from Big Time Rush.
I just met him for the 2nd time this Sunday, and he always manages to literally give me all of the feels in the entire world. Carlos always finds a way when I meet him, to make me feel like the only girl in the room.
The first time when I met him back in 2010, it was a CD signing. I had written him a letter, and when I got to the table, I was so nervous that I was shaking. He did not look at me/treat me like some sort of crazy fan. He was actually the sweetest person in the world about it.
He calmed me down. He asked me why I was shaking, and I told him that it was because I was just a big fan and that I loved him. He laughed and hugged me, where I then handed him my letter. A big smile formed on his face, and he took my hands in his and told me thank you.
He did not have to do any of that. Let me remind you, CD signings go by in about 2 seconds, and in the short time that I met him, he made me feel so special and left me breathless.
Nearly 2 years go by, and I met him again Sunday. I was in clear view of him at soundcheck, and I had waved at him, receiving a big smile and a wave back, which made me die right then and there. We then went on to meet the band, and I had gotten Carlos a snapback, because I know that he loves them and he collects them.
As soon as I got to him, I told him that I had something for him, and I said that I had a snapback for him. The cutest, most excited look formed on his face and he put on the hat. I put a little letter to him in the hat, and he took it and put it into his pocket instead of giving it to security to put with the rest of the gifts. As we were walking away, we were called back for a second photo, and as we were walking toward them again, he pulled me into this hug and thanked me for the hat in the most sincere way, you could just hear the sincerity in his voice. He did not have to be that sweet, and I knew that I definitely wasn’t the prettiest girl there. But, he managed to make me feel so special.
I don’t know, whenever I walk away from meeting Carlos, I am smiling from ear to ear because I gain so much confidence because of the way that he interacts with me, and I just want to thank him.
So, I posted my favorites last night, and I may be editing some of those as well. But, these are also a few that I took that I love.
This is the day I met Big Time Rush for the first time. The summer prior to this date, I first got into watching the boys on TV because my little sister, who was 4 at the time, loved the show. I really got into it, and I thought that they were very beautiful, and they were talented. After the summer concluded, I kept checking their website because I knew they were releasing dates that they were going to have signings on. I had found out that they were going to do a signing at a mall about 45 minutes away from my house. So, I bought up 3 wristbands for my sisters and I. This was going to be a surprise to my little sister.
As the days to the signing got closer, I made my little sister and I shirts to wear at the signing. Mine was pink and said ‘I love Carlos’ on the front, and hers said ‘I Love James’ on the front. She will always consider James as her soulmate. I had her put the shirt on that morning before we headed to the signing, and I did not tell her what it said. We got to the mall just about 3 hours before the signing, and we went up to the FYE to get our cd’s. I put my little sister’s wristband on her, and once she had her CD in her hand, I told her that we would be meeting Big Time Rush later that day. She freaked out, and we took pictures together of us posing with our CD’s.
The boys arrived fashionably late, and when they made their entrance, I held my little sister so she could see them through the crowd in front of us of girls about my age. There was a big group of hott guys in the front that began crowd sing-alongs of BTR songs. We inched closer and closer to the line, and Carlos kept standing up, giving the fans heart signs. When we got to the table, I let my sister go before me. James was first at the table, which was perfect. I lifted her up to show James her shirt, and he thought that it was adorable. She told James that he was her favorite. He told her that he loved yellow, the color of her shirt. Right then and there, he took off a yellow silly band that was on his arm, and he put it on my little sister and gave her a hug. My heart melted. My heart melted even more because, when she got to Carlos, he told her that she had beautiful blue eyes. They were perfect with her. She also got so excited when she got high 5’s from Kendall and Logan.
I had written a letter to Carlos, and I was excited to give it to him. When I stood in front of him at the table, my legs were shaking like jello, and so were my hands. I told Carlos that I wrote him a letter, and I handed it to him. He saw that my hands were shaking, and he asked me if I was nervous. I shook my head yes. Right then and there, he took both my hands in his. CARLOS PENA TOOK MY HANDS. He looked me in the eyes and told me not to be nervous, and that my letter is lovely. I died. Carlos was HOLDING MY HANDS. He then gave me a hug, which security were trying to stop them from doing, but he did it anyway. I received high 5’s from all of the guys, and I walked away on cloud 9.
Carlos and James especially surprised me so much in a great way. I have VIP to see them again August 12th, and my sister wants me to help her write James a letter, telling him how much she adores him, and how she will be in the crowd last night. She also wants to give him a picture from when we met them. I am just genuinely excited to see them again because they are truly really sweet boys. :)
